InquiryBase Examples
The best way to discover how easy it is
to use a Lines of
Inquiry portable website is to see
some examples (in babble speak, our portable
website is called an
InquiryBase)
Using the Lines
of Inquiry Enterprise Edition,
we have constructed some Inquirybases
for you to view or download. You would
usually receive these as email attachments
but this will save you a little time.
1.
Select an InquiryBase from the list below
2.
Download and unzip
it to a folder on your local drive
3.
Double click on the loader file - LinesOfInquiry.html
Notice there is no complex installation
or configuration process. In fact, except
for any image or reference files that
are part of the InquiryBase, the entire
application is just plain text. Suspicious
exe files, dll files and registry entries
have been totally eliminated making it
very safe to move the information system
through the Internet and use it. And because
the application runs in Internet Explorer's
'sand box', the
processing burdon is significantly
reduced.
Each example has been created in less
than three hours and, as with all InquiryBases,
will work on any computer running Internet
Explorer 5.01 or later.
If you view
the examples online, images and files
may take a few seconds to load. These
load instantly when they are downloaded
and viewed on your own PC.
