Brian Kelly, AIA, is Professor of Architecture, Area Chair of the Architecture Program, and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development at the University of Maryland, School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. He teaches design studios at all levels within the program, heads up the Master of Architecture thesis program, and offers a course in the History of Renaissance Architecture. Since 1992 he has led students to Rome, Italy for a summer drawing and watercolour course. Kelly’s professional practice is focused on academic architecture and campus planning.
